Functional Medicine for Nutrition and Whole-Body Health

At Beathú (be-thoo) Holistic Health, we believe that true health comes from caring for your whole body, not just treating symptoms. Our dedicated functional health consultant and nutrition expert is passionate about helping you learn to care for your body in a way that provides long-term health and well-being through methods that break lifestyle and nutritional habits. We offer personalized guidance on nutrition, time management, exercise, and lifestyle choices to help you achieve your health goals. A service that can be conducted via phone, video chat, or in person.

Sandra is not only a long-standing medical-based massage therapist, but she also has obtained a Master's in Science for Integrative Healthcare, focusing on supplementation and functional health. She is a proud member of the NANP which provides a high standard of care and continuing education.  Over the years she's listened to her clients and has built a service that fills a hole in the current health field. Her goal is to bring together an invaluable network of medical professionals with the same ideals and goals; to teach as many individuals as possible how to better their whole health (mind, body, and spirit), and make a habit of the changes. No more pill pushing, shoving off to other professionals, or not listening to the patient/client's concerns and finding the appropriate solution rather than a Band-Aid.

What is Functional Medicine?

The medical industry is accustomed to treating symptoms. The problem with this is that we don't eliminate the issue, just hide the outward signs that something is wrong.

In functional medicine we examine the reason for the symptoms. The "why". When you look to solving the reason for the problem, you find a more functional way to live.

Functional medicine uses research driven results involving food, herbs, homeopathic remedies, physical exercise, mental stability, and environmental changes to ensure that we are addressing the initial issue and not put a band-aid on the symptoms.
